Cricket World Cup Winners: The ICC Cricket World Cup is the international championship of One Day International cricket. The tournament is organized every four years by the game‘s governing body, the International Cricket Council (ICC). The tournament is one of the most watched sporting events in the world, behind only the FIFA World Cup and the Olympics.

As we all know, the birth country of cricket is considered to be England, but it is also worth keeping in mind that this country did not win any major ICC tournament till the 2010 Twenty20 World Cup. The first World Cup was held in 1975 in England. The first three World Cups were hosted in England but since the 1987 tournament the World Cup has been held in another country every four years. Most recently this tournament was held in 2019. It was once again hosted by England and in a very dramatic way the new ICC. England won the One Day World Cup for the first time by defeating New Zealand as per rules.
