Raigad Fort

Raigad Fort is a famous fort on the hill in Mahad in Raigad district, Maharashtra. It was built by Chhatrapati Shivaji and made it his capital in 1674. This fort is located in Sahyadri mountain range. It is 820 meters (2700 ft) above sea level. He has a special identity on the Maratha Empire.
